Clay Shooting
The shooting ground at NWSS offers a vast range of disciplines in clay target shooting. Whatever your choice of clays we probably offer it. Most of our layouts and disciplines are served by automatic traps fed by coin tokens purchased from the shop, and many traps are voice activated.

Our shooting ground is a clean ground and we insist that all shooters put their spent cartridge cases in the bins provided throughout the ground.

We ask all shooters, and spectators, to wear head, eye and hearing protection when on or near a layout. We cannot be held responsible for injuries caused because of a lack of safety equipment. Our shop is well stocked with relevant protection gear or we may lend gear at other times; you need only ask.

Prices: Rounds (25 clays on a single layout) start at £5, the exception being double trap, please ring for further details.
We do not charge corkage.

Maximum cartridge load 1ounce/28 grams, preferably fibre wad.

No larger pellet size than number 7.

We strongly advise that all shooters wear suitable hearing and eye protection while on the ground.
